FAQ
-
What do you do?
A little bit of everything, visually. A. Creative is my studio for photography, interior design, art, creative direction, and visual storytelling. The common thread is a love of texture, light, thoughtful details, and creating things that feel personal and collected.
-
What kinds of creative projects do you take on?
It depends! I work with individuals, brands, and spaces on everything from portrait and lifestyle photography to brand photography, interior styling, sourcing, art, and creative direction. If you have an idea that doesn't fit neatly into one category, that's usually the fun part – reach out and let's talk.
-
Do you offer interior design services?
Yes, with a focus on thoughtful interior curation and styling. I help bring together furniture, art, objects, color, texture, and the little details that make a space feel like it belongs to the people living in it. Some projects are full-room transformations; others might involve furniture sourcing, art selection, styling, or simply helping you figure out what a space needs.
-
What is interior curation?
I think of interior curation less as starting from scratch and more as creating a collection. I'm interested in spaces that feel layered, lived-in, and personal rather than overly designed. That might mean sourcing a vintage piece, finding the right artwork, reworking what you already own, or pulling together the final details that make a room click.
-
Where are you based?
I'm based in Pennsylvania, between Philadelphia and Scranton, and work with clients locally and remotely. I'm also available to travel for the right photography, interior design, or creative project.
-
Do you work with clients outside of Pennsylvania?
Absolutely. While I'm Pennsylvania-based, I work with photography, creative direction, and interior clients beyond Pennsylvania as well. Some interior projects can be handled virtually, while photography and in-person design projects may require travel.
-
Can you help source furniture, art, and home decor?
Absolutely. Sourcing is one of my favorite parts of an interior project. Depending on the scope, I can help find furniture, vintage pieces, artwork, textiles, lighting, and those slightly harder-to-find objects that make a space feel like you.
-
Do you retouch the images? And how many will I receive?
Yes! I create original artwork and photography intended to live in a space, and I also offer digital and downloadable pieces. I love thinking about art as part of the room rather than something that gets added at the very end.
-
Do you offer photography services?
Yes. I photograph people, products, brands, spaces, and places, with a focus on natural light, texture, movement, and genuine moments. Photography can be booked for personal sessions, brand photography, lifestyle imagery, interiors, and creative projects.
-
What is your photography style?
Texture, movement, natural light, and a little bit of imperfection. I want photographs to feel like something you remember rather than something you simply looked at. Whether I'm photographing a person, a product, or a place, I'm always looking for the feeling underneath it.
-
Do you work with brands?
Yes. I work with brands on photography, creative direction, visual storytelling, and content creation – particularly when there's a strong emphasis on lifestyle, interiors, fashion, travel, or product.
-
What does creative direction look like?
Creative direction can mean different things depending on the project. I can help develop a visual concept, establish an aesthetic direction, plan a shoot, source props and locations, direct photography, shape content, or bring all of those pieces together into one cohesive visual story.
-
How do I work with you?
Start by reaching out and telling me a little about your project, what you're looking for, and where you're located. From there, we'll talk through the idea, scope, timing, and investment and figure out whether we're a good fit.
-
What does a project cost?
It depends on the project. Photography, creative direction, interior design, and sourcing can vary quite a bit depending on scope, time, materials, sourcing, and deliverables. I'll always talk through the investment and what's included before we begin – no mysterious surprise costs.
-
Do you travel?
Yes. I'm Pennsylvania-based but available for projects beyond Pennsylvania when the project is the right fit. Travel fees, if applicable, will always be discussed upfront.
-
I have an idea, but I'm not sure what I need. Can I still reach out?
Please do! You don't need to have the perfect brief or know exactly what to call the thing you're looking for. Sometimes you just know that something isn't quite working – or that you want to make something really good. We can figure out the rest together.
